How Can I Make a Certain Salary Type Require Approval?

You can easily set a salary type to require separate attestation/approval to be included in the payroll file. This may, for example, more commonly be done on certain fixed compensation salary types.
- Open the agreement template which should generate the salary type.
- Go to the tab "Salary types" and click on the salary type that should requite attestation.
- Tick the checkbox "Requires approval", then save.
Now, any transaction with this salary type will require a separate approval/attestation before it will be included in payroll.
