How Can I Make a Certain Salary Type Require Approval?

You can easily set a salary type to require separate attestation/approval to be included in the payroll file. This may, for example, more commonly be done on certain fixed compensation salary types.

  1. Open the agreement template which should generate the salary type.
  2. Go to the tab "Salary types" and click on the salary type that should requite attestation.
  3. Tick the checkbox "Requires approval", then save.

Now, any transaction with this salary type will require a separate approval/attestation before it will be included in payroll.
