How Can I Specify Access Rights for a Staff Category?

You can specify access rights for employees with a specific staff category.  Access rights determine what users should be able to see and do in Quinyx. 

Follow these steps:

  • Go to Settings > Access Rights
  • Choose which portal in the first drop down list
  • Choose which role the staff category is connected to in the second
  • No you can select what you want to hide or just make visible
  • Select For everyone within a staff category
  • Save

Here is an example:

We want to hide the time module for a staff category connected to the role Local manager, go to Settings > Access Rights

  1. Choose Admin portal in the first drop down list
  2. Choose which Local manager in the second
  3. Click on Time in the first column
  4. Select For everyone within a staff category
  5. Tick the category you want to hide it from, in this case Store manager
  6. Untick visible
  7. Save
