What Do I Need to Do to Let All Managers View Leave Applications in the Overview?

A leave application should normally be visible to the specified manager it was sent to.
You can read below to see how exactly this it determined.
Select Manager on LA - Active
If the function Select manager on LA is activated on your unit card, the employee will be able to choose which manager should see the leave application.
- If there is a manager defined on the employees staff card, this manager will be pre-selected as the recipient of the leave application and thereby the only manager to see the leave application in the dashboard.
- If there are no manager defined on the employees staff card there will be no pre-selected manager to receive the leave application and it will be visible to all
As long as there is no manager defined on the leave application, all manager will be able to view and approve or deny the application.
Select manager on LA - Disabled
If the function Select manager on LA is deactivated:
- If there is a manager defined in the reports to on the staff card, the leave application will be visible to the manager as defined on the employee card
- If there is no manager defined in the the report to on the staff card, the leave application will be visible to the defined Unit manager, and the Manager group if there is a manager group defined.
To enable the feature that all leave requests are visible to everyone in the admin portal, you need to enable the Global tab. To enable it you have to go to
- Settings
- Access Rights
- Settings
- Global
- Select Visible
- Save
When enabled, log out and then log in again for the feature to be visible in your view. Go to the newly added Global tab under Settings. Check the box "Show leave applications for all in Admin Portal" and save.
