Scheduled Staff

This article relates to Classic.

This view shows the same information as in Schedule but here the schedule is instead sorted by employee. The view is useful for a  more detailed overview of the schedule than the schedule view.

Filter

In the upper date selector you can quickly select a week.

In the lower one you can select the from and to date. Click on the update icon when you have made your selection.

The arrow down takes you forwards one period and the arrow up takes you backwards. You can select a week or month by using 7 or 31.

You also have the possibility to filter the view in several different ways:

Icons

The icons on the right of the view do the following:

Exclude headcount for other units: if you use shared staff and only want to see manned hours in your own unit.

Temporarily stop sending notifications to staff on scheduling changes: if you want to temporarily stop sending staff messages. The function can be used if you execute many schedule changes of a published schedule but do not want messages about the changes to be sent.

Schedule a meeting creating new shifts and  notifying participants: if you want to schedule a meeting or other event and inform the employees concerned.

Narrow shifts: if you have many shifts during the day and want to reduce the height of the shift so that more shifts have space in the same image for increased clarity.

Un-delete shifts: if you deleted a shift by mistake.

Hide Notices of Interest: if you want to hide all Notices of Interest for the selected period.

Hide absences/vacations: if you want to hide vacations or other absence.

Create Excel report: for editing in a Microsoft Excel sheet

Click to exclude salary cost.

Assign and schedule

In the Scheduled Staff view the default is that all employees with shifts are shown automatically. If you want to see all employees regardless of whether they have shifts or not, you can choose to click in the box “All employees

If you also want to see unmanned shifts you can check the box “Open shifts”.

You can assign shifts from this view by dragging and dropping the open shift to an employee.

You can also Move or Copy shifts by dragging and dropping in the view.
