API Developer Portal
We are thrilled to unveil the all-new Quinyx Developer Portal at developer.quinyx.com. We've taken our entire integration ecosystem and brought it under one modern, unified roof. Whether you are integrating with our new REST APIs or working with our traditional SOAP APIs, you now have a single entry point to get the job done.
On the new portal, beyond raw endpoint definitions, you will find a dedicated Guides & Tutorials section to enhance your integration experience with Quinyx.
Quick links
- Looking for SOAP API documentation? Head to the V1 APIs → developer.quinyx.com/api/v1
- Looking for REST API documentation? Head to the V2 APIs → developer.quinyx.com/api/v2
- Exploring our newest REST APIs? Take a look at V3 → developer.quinyx.com/api/
Which API version should I use?
The portal groups our APIs into three versions. Here's what each one is, and when to reach for it.
V1 - SOAP APIs
Our traditional SOAP APIs. If you have an established integration built against our WSDL-based services, this is where you'll find it: developer.quinyx.com/api/v1
V2 - REST APIs
Our established REST APIs. V2 has the widest coverage today, so for most integrations this is the version you'll use: developer.quinyx.com/api/v2
V3 — REST APIs (new apis)
Our newest REST APIs, built on our API Management platform and following our latest API design standards. V3 is the direction we're heading, and we're expanding it over time , but its coverage is still more limited than V2 for now: developer.quinyx.com/api/
V2 vs V3 — what's the difference?
Both V2 and V3 are REST APIs, so the difference isn't about the protocol.
- V2 is our established set, with the broadest coverage available today.
- V3 is the next generation, built to a newer and more consistent standard, and growing steadily.
In practice: you choose which version to integrate against. If the API you need exists in V3, it follows our latest guidelines and is a great choice. If it isn't there yet, you'll find it in V2. Until V3 reaches feature parity, V2 remains the practical default for most integrations.
Looking for older tutorials?
If you previously used one of our SOAP help-centre articles — for example, the WSDL Update employees guide - that content now lives on the Developer Portal as part of the V1 API.
As an example, the old "WSDL: update employees" article now maps to: developer.quinyx.com/api/v1/operations/wsdlUpdateEmployees
If a guide you relied on seems to have moved, it has most likely been brought into the portal alongside the relevant API version.
Need a hand choosing?
The Developer Portal includes a built-in AI assistant that can help you find the right endpoint and the right version for what you're building. If you're not sure where to look, just ask it.
