Employee Cards - Passive Employees

Passive employees are inactive for scheduling and removed from all lists. The employee does not personally have access to Quinyx while they are flagged as Passive. This may be relevant when people are on parental leave or for summer temps, for example. However, you can activate this at any time.

To indicate that a person is Passive, open the employee's employee card under the Employees Tab and Employees in order to edit it.

  1. Click the Categories tab.
  2. Dormant: Check the Passive field.
  3. Click the Save button.

Restore Passive Staff

If you need to see staff who have been marked as passive, check "Show inactive employees" under Employees and Employees.

Passive employees are tagged with a yellow flag.

If you want to restore that person, you can open the employee card again, uncheck Passive under the Categories tab and click the Save button.
