Frontline Portal - Recipient selection methods

Updated by Daniel Sjögren

When selecting the intended audience for your resource, you can choose your preferred recipient selection method. This article will go over your options.

Specific groups

This method allows you to search through your organization for specific groups and add only those groups to your audience. For example, this could be certain stores belonging to a district.

By group type

This method allows you to select all groups of the desired type, located within and beneath your chosen level in the organization, as recipients. For example, it will allow you to select all region groups within your organization.

By Store

This mode operates like Select by Group Type, but with a streamlined step: it automatically chooses the {tasking group} group type, taking you straight to the hierarchy for group selection. For example, it will allow you to select different stores spread out over various regions in your organization.

By role type

This method allows you to select recipients by role type and then pick a group within your organization. This will select all roles of the desired type, located within and beneath your chosen level in the organization, as recipients. For example, it will allow you to select all managers within one or more specific regions.

Add from saved audiences

This mode allows you to add recipients from existing saved audiences. It adds the recipients without adding associated settings, which means your current settings for your audience are retained. For example, you could have a saved audience for all your flagship stores. By using this option, it will allow you to select that specific subset of recipients.
