Version 0114

Updated by Maria Lindberg

Release date August 11, 2021

New functionality

Absence schedules

With this release, we've added support to view and manage absence schedule configurations.

Add, edit, and delete absence schedules

In Account settings > Absence management > Absence schedule, you can fully configure different absence schedules:

When you add a new Absence schedule, you now have to configure the associated Date and Time after you're finished with the initial configuration. In the new Date and Time column, there is a visual prompt to indicate that additional action is needed where you just need to click the calendar icon to finish up your configuration.

Design updates in Schedule

With this release, we've made some design updates and changed the look and feel for Notice of Interest (NOI) and leave requests in the Schedule view to better match the design in our mobile app.

We encourage all our customers to make use of our APIs to maintain data and make sure that information is up to date. To ensure scalability of our APIs while growing our customer and user base, we have decided to add restrictions on usage of our SOAP APIs. These restrictions will be enforced programmatically and means that we will enforce a limit on concurrent calls per customer to 10. You should expect response code 429 if you happen to exceed this limit and you are recommended to implement a backoff retry mechanism to handle the limit. Note that the limit applies to SOAP only. When moving from SOAP to Rest over the following years, any limits will be built into the API. Please make sure to forward this information to the party within your company responsible for integrations.
