You can configure tags in both Group settings and Account settings.

A tag is a container of properties that can be linked to shift types, individual shifts, or punches. Tags function similarly to cost center codes, project codes, and account codes that can be associated with a shift type, but they offer additional capabilities. The benefits of using tags include:

  • Enhanced time tracking: Tags allow you to track time spent on various activities, improving the accuracy of time reporting and billing, simplifying financial follow-up, and enabling project ROI calculations.
  • Improved cost control: You can set an hour budget on a tag, which helps you manage and control costs better.
  • Fraud prevention: Geofencing capabilities within tags help mitigate time reporting fraud.
  • Deeper system integrations: Tags enable more robust integrations with CRM and ERP systems, allowing for greater data synchronization and process automation.

You can configure tags in Account settings.
