License overview

Updated by Daniel Sjögren

Licenses govern how many units, or active users you can have in your Quinyx tenant. In Quinyx, there are two primary license types:

  • Unit license: Unit licenses govern how many units your Quinyx tenant can have. With unit licenses, there is no limit to how many users you can create within your organization.
  • User license: User licenses govern how many active users you can have in your Quinyx tenant. With user licenses there is no limit to how many units you can create within your organization.

In addition, there are what are called Non-billable licenses. Non-billable licenses are licenses usually added for test purposes and for a limited time, such as creating a test unit or test employees during the project phase and when a customer hasn't gone live yet.

Note that depending on the license type you use, only those will be displayed in the license management view. For example, if you use the unit license type, you will see your no. of unit licenses.

Where to see your licenses in Quinyx

You can see your current no. of licenses in Account settings > Advanced settings > License management.

If you're interested in ordering additional licenses, you can do so via the Support Portal. For more information, read here.
