Delete existing shift offers

Updated by Leigh Hutchens

Managers can delete shift offers that were previously created for open shifts. This action is useful when adjustments need to be made to shift assignments or if an offer was created in error. Once a shift offer is deleted, it is immediately removed from visibility within the mobile application, meaning employees will no longer be able to view or accept it.

Upon deletion, employees who previously had access to the shift offer will receive an automatic update through a Qmail and/or push notification, letting them know the offer is no longer available. This helps avoid confusion and sets clear expectations, especially for those who may have been considering the shift.

Following the deletion of the offer, the shift reverts to an "unassigned" status and becomes editable again. Managers can make necessary adjustments, such as updating the shift details or re-offering it to another employee. This flexibility allows managers to efficiently manage shift assignments and maintain optimal staffing levels as requirements change.
