Full-time employees
For a full-time employee, the absence schedule will create the shifts as specified in the leave schedule
Part-time employees
For a part-time employee, the absence schedule will create shifts based upon the employee's nominal hours per day during the leave period.
Example.
Lilly has 8 nominal hours per day as a full-time employment, but she is employed with an employment rate of 50%.
The Absence schedule is set to create the shift type "Generic shift" from 08:00 - 16:00 without any breaks.
If Lilly is assigned a leave with the absence schedule, the contractual shifts created from the absence schedule will be 4 hours long, starting at 08:00 and ending at 12:00.
