Q: What is QClock?

A: QClock is Quinyx’s modern, state-of-the-art time registration product designed to meet all your organization's needs for employee clocking in and out. It starts with features like clocking in/out and tracking breaks, with plans to add more functionality soon, including clocking in/out for tasks, absences, and overtime.

Q: How do I get started with QClock?

A: To start using QClock, your organization will need to enable the module. If your organization is already using Webpunch for time registration, you can also activate QClock and try it out. Contact our support team, and they’ll assist with the activation.

Once activated, the QClock menu will appear under Account settings.

Q: Does QClock have a timeout feature?

A: No, QClock does not have a timeout feature. The device remains signed in until credentials are manually deleted via the manager portal or the browser cache is cleared on the device.

Q: How do employees identify themselves on QClock?

A: When a device is authorized to use QClock, the first screen employees see is the Employee Identification screen. Employees can identify themselves by:

  • Entering their badge number via the numpad.
  • Swiping their RFID card or tag.
  • Typing their badge number directly into the input field.

After entering their credentials, they need to select OK to confirm.

Q: What information is displayed on the Employee Identification screen?

A: The Employee Identification screen shows the following:

  • A numpad for badge number entry
  • The current date and time
  • The unit name
  • A language selector
Q: Can I change the language in QClock?

A: Yes! To change the language, press the language selector in the bottom-left corner, choose your desired language, and select Save. Currently, QClock supports English and Spanish, with more languages coming soon.

Q: What happens after I identify myself?

After successful identification, you'll be taken to the Overview Screen, where you can view your scheduled and worked hours for the day. This is also where you can clock in or out.

Q: What can I see in my scheduled shifts?

A: On the Overview Screen, you’ll see all your scheduled shifts for the day, including:

  • Start and end times
  • Shift name
  • Break time
  • Detailed shift information (available by selecting the "i" icon)
Q: What details are available under shift information?

A: When you open the detailed information for a shift, you’ll see the following:

  • Unit
  • Section
  • Cost center
  • Project
  • Agreement

To close the panel, select the X in the upper corner.

Q: Where can I view my work history?

A: Under the history section, you can view the worked time you’ve registered for the day. This helps track what you've clocked in/out for during your shifts.

Q: How do I log out of QClock?

A: To log out, select the Log out button in the bottom-left corner of the overview page. After confirming, you will return to the Employee Identification screen. Remember, QClock has no timeout feature so the device remains signed in unless you log out or clear the credentials via the manager portal.
