Employee Hub - Create a folder

To create a new folder:

  1. Navigate to the area of your Files Hub where you'd like to add a new folder.
  2. Click on the + icon in the top-right corner.
  1. Click Folder.
  1. Give your new folder a title (you can rename it later using the Edit option).
If you choose to make the folder private, it can only be shared with individuals, not with stores. Learn more about private folders here.
  1. You can also add a cover image, description, category, and tags.

The new folder will be added to your Files Hub, and be available to all users who have access to the folder it sits beneath. For more information on who can see files and folders see File Permissions.

The creator of a folder will be able to view all files and folders within the said folder, including private folders, which will appear with their names redacted. To delete a private folder that someone else has created, you can contact its creator, who is displayed on the folder.
We do not have a specific file size recommendation for folder cover images, as they can vary based on the device and screen size. The image will automatically adjust to fit the tile, shrinking or stretching as needed. We recommend using a larger file size to ensure better quality when stretched on larger screens.

Folder breadcrumbs

You can view a folder's location, and navigate to any of its parent folders, using folder breadcrumbs.

  1. Open a folder. For this example we have created a folder with two subfolders.
  2. Open a subfolder. Its breadcrumbs can be found at the top left corner.
  1. Click on any breadcrumb to navigate directly to that parent folder
