Audit logs - Roles

Audit logs - Role management

In regard to role management, we are covering the following objects in our audit logs:

  • Role assignment
  • Role
  • Level

The audit log entries will cover the creation and changes of these objects. When you remove a role assignment to an employee, it will be presented as a change where the end date is set to the current date.

Where the objects are changed, the details about what access rights have changed.

Role assignments - Employee assignments to roles

  1. Employee role created - Employee added to a role
  2. Employee role updated - The assignment to the role is changed
  3. Employee role deleted - The assignment to the role is deleted, and the end date is set to the date before yesterday. Hence, the delete will appear as an update with a change to the end date.

Role assignment will cover all changes in terms of access rights.

Role - When a Role is created, changed, or deleted

Quinyx logs all changes to roles. We show new and old values on access rights and who made the changes to a specific role.

When a role is moved in terms of level, then that is registered as a level - change and not on the role.

  1. Role created
    1. Access rights added
  2. Role updated
    1. Access rights added, changed, or removed
  3. Role deleted

Level - When Levels are changed

If you add, move, or delete a level, this is now logged in the audit logs.

If a role is moved between levels, this is logged under level and not role.
